호주 시드니에서 어린아이들이 학교에 처음 입학하면 배우는 워드 리스트 시리즈입니다.

NSW Foundation Magic 600라는 이름으로 불리며, 각 컬러별로 단계별 워드 리스트가 구성되어 있습니다.

터쿠아즈 워드 리스트에 이어  열여덟번째는 마젠타 워드 리스트입니다.

Magenta Words 설명

• upon : to say that someone or something is very close or has arrived
• use : to do something with (an object, machine, person, method, etc.) in order to accomplish a task, do an activity, etc.
• way : how someone or something does something; how someone or something behaves, appears, feels, etc.
• week : a period of seven days
• while : during the time that
• better :higher in quality
• book : a set of printed sheets of paper that are held together inside a cover; a long written work
• done : past participle of do
• during : throughout the entire time of (an event, period, occurrence, etc.)
• however : used when you are saying something that is different from or contrasts with a previous statement

• follow :to go or come after or behind (someone or something)

Words List 공부방법

실제로 선생님들이 아이들에게 이 워드 리스트를 전달하면서 추천하는 공부 방법입니다. 

• Look at the word
• Say the word
• Trace the word with your finger, say it as you trace it.
• Copy the word out 4 times a week
• Place your hand over the word after looking at it and see if you can say it and write it.
• Take a picture of the word with your invisible camera and put it in your head.
• Shut your eyes and see if you can write it

처음 아이들이 워드 공부를 시작할 때는 단어를 보고 읽을 수 있으면 1단계 학습은 되었다고 생각합니다.

그다음으로 쓰는 것과 단어의 의미를 익히는 것까지 하면, 다음 단계로 넘어가는 형식입니다.

 

호주에서 처음 영어를 시작하는 아이들에게 추천하는 단어 공부 방식입니다.
